Licence terms of use of databases, electronic magazines, and other electronic sources offered by the University of Maribor Library and other University of Maribor libraries along with their consortia partners on their own or other servers.

  • You may not (directly or indirectly) copy, distribute, sell, or build your own databases with the data from the databases and other electronic sources, unless this is explicitly permitted within licence terms for a specific collection. You are only permitted to make one copy of individual search printout in an electronic or printed form for your own study, research, or teaching needs.
  • You may use the attained data only for non-profitable purposes within education and research activities at the University of Maribor.
  • Texts attained from the electronic sources may not be changed, adjusted, translated, or used as extracts.
  • You must respect interlibrary loan and document supply restrictions for so attained materials.
  • You must respect the confidentiality of your given password (when required for the use of services) and may not reveal it to others. 
  • You must respect the confidentiality of data owned by other network users. You may not attain the data, programme equipment, services, and usernames on computers or networks to which you are not entitled.
  • You may only access databases and other electronic sources within the University of Maribor Library and the University of Maribor area, unless access from other locations is explicitly permitted. The list of these collections is given at the University of Maribor Library website and Libguides.
  • Users themselves assure technical conditions for accessing servers within the University of Maribor Library or elsewhere (network, installation, and maintenance of the client).
  • The University of Maribor Library takes no responsibility for completeness, accuracy, and authenticity of data from databases and also for any eventual damage, caused by data use. The University of Maribor Library cannot take any responsibility in the case of removal of the collection from the servers or server malfunctions.
  • In the case of above stated conditions violation, the user will immediately be denied access to databases and other electronic sources that are the object of this statement. Misuse of databases and other electronic sources is a criminal offence.
