Terms and Conditions for Using the Electronic Sources

The data from databases and other electronic sources cannot (directly or indirectly) be copied, distributed, sold or be taken as part of own databases, if this is not explicitly allowed in the licence contract. You can make one copy for individual research, study or pedagogic use in electronic or paper version.

You can only use the gained information for non-profit purpose in the educational and research activities at the University of Maribor.

Texts from the electronic sources cannot be changed, adapted, translated or used for synopses.

The prohibition of interlibrary loan of such materials must be respected.

You have to take care of your password validity (when a password is needed) and you mustn’t give it to other persons.

You have to respect the anonymity of data, which are possession of other users. You cannot access data, software, services and usernames on computers or networks, to which you are not entitled to.

You can access databases and other information sources from the premises of the University of Maribor Library and of the University of Maribor, except when the access is explicitly allowed from other locations. A list of such databases can be found on the University of Maribor Library homepage.

The user must provide for technical conditions for accessing the servers in the University of Maribor Library or elsewhere (network, settings and client maintenance).

The University of Maribor Library does not take any responsibility for completeness, accuracy and reality of data from databases and also not for any possible damage that could occur when using the data. The University of Maribor Library cannot take any responsibility in case of database(s) withdrawal or server failure.

In case of violation of the above mentioned terms and conditions the access to databases and other electronic sources can be denied. The misuse of databases and other information sources is a criminal offence.
