MIHA KACAFURA: BALLET ON THE STREET
27. August 2024
The Lobby
The series of photographs depicting ballet and ballet dancers in a rather unusual setting – instead of the stage, they are on the street. According to some definitions, dancing is an art that allows the connection of various areas: music, drama, and even visual arts, since it builds aesthetic sensibility – experiencing the beautiful. The author connects sensual expression of the ballet dancers with the rhythm and the beating of the street, the spirit of the town, and the passers-by, which brings the art of dancing closer to the audience.
The exhibition is a part of Photography Festival.
On view until the 16th of November 2024.
