OUR COLLEAGUES RECEIVE UNIVERSITY OF MARIBOR AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

On January 29, 2025, the University of Maribor held its traditional Rector’s Day Ceremony, where 64 awards and recognitions were presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion and development of the University, be it through their work, outstanding achievements, and/or merits.

Among the awardees were also two of our colleagues:

• Irena Žižek, who received the University of Maribor Recognition for Professional Work, and

• Andrej Karo, the recipient of the Perlach Recognition for the 2023/2024 academic year.

We sincerely congratulate both awardees!
