SYMPOSIUM ON THE HISTORY OF SLOVENE LITERARY TRANSLATION IN THE NORTH-EAST

A symposium featuring short presentations of selected chapters from the monograph History of Slovene Literary Translation. The monograph, comprising 122 chapters by 64 experts, outlines the influence of literary translation on the formation of Slovene identity, culture, literature, and society. The event will commence in Glazer Hall and conclude with the opening of an exhibition and the presentation of exhibits at the Exhibition Hall at 11:45 AM.
Organized by the Department of Translation Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Maribor, in cooperation with the University of Maribor Library and co-organisers.
The event will be conducted in Slovene.
