HISTORY OF SLOVENE LITERARY TRANSLATION IN THE NORTH-EAST
Exhibition Hall
Opening: Friday, March 15th, at 11:45 AM, following the symposium in the Glazer Hall.
The exhibition will showcase early translation materials from the University of Maribor Library collection, emphasizing the significance of literary translation activity in Prekmurje, Slovenian Styria, and Carinthia from the 18th century to the present day. Accompanying the exhibition will be posters featuring profiles of prominent Slovenian literary translators. The symposium will include presentations of selected chapters from the monograph titled History of Slovene Literary Translation.
The exhibition will be on view from March 15th to March 30th, 2024.
