Presentation of the International Day of Biodiversity and Extinct Animal Species in Maribor and the Surrounding Area
Presented by Boža Janžekovič, subject specialist
In connection with the International Day of Biodiversity on 22 May, held under the motto "Be Part of the Plan," we will present the extinct species of animals that once inhabited Maribor and the surrounding area. We will discuss the causes and consequences of species loss and encourage visitors to report observations of declining populations of particular species.
