Academic painter Viktor Šest traditionally focuses on human figure, be it individual or in small groups. His depictions are often genre or portrait specific.
Parallel to the opening of the exhibition and in commemoration of Maister’s year 2024, the portrait of General Maister will also be exhibited. The portrait was specifically requested and will be the pride and joy of the Maister Library within the University of Maribor Library.
