Glazer Library
The University of Maribor Library is starting a new series of book sessions called Prebranke. We warmly invite you to join our community of enthusiastic readers and active participants.
Together, we will explore books from various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and popular science. With the help of our dedicated librarians, we will choose our reading materials and guide our discussions.
For our first book session, we have chosen Pia Prezelj's book Heavy Water (Težka voda). It won the Debut of the Year Award at the 2023 Slovenian Book Fair, was a nominee for this year's Cankar Award and Kritiško Sito Award (awarded by the Slovenian Association of Literary Critics) and is among the five nominees for the Kresnik – Best Novel of the Year Award.
The Prebranke books sessions are carried out in Slovene.
We look forward to your participation!
