Franc Robič, profesor, slovenski javni in narodnobuditeljski delavec, deželni in državni poslanec, doma iz Limbuša pri Mariboru, se je s svojim raznolikim delovanjem zapisal v narodno zgodovino. Sodi med vidnejše akterje slovenstva na Štajerskem v zadnjih desetletjih 19. stoletja in na prelomu 19. in 20. stoletja. Lahko ga celo uvrstimo ob bok vidnejših vooditeljev slovenskega naroda, ki so v tem času delovali na Štajerskem. Še posebej prizadevno je deloval v korist slovenskega šolstva, kmetijstva in podeželja nasploh, imel pa je velik posluh in razumevanje tudi za širše narodne interese in za razvoj mesta Maribor. Z aktivnim delovanjem se je izkazal tudi v Avstrijskem državnem zboru na Dunaju in v Štajerskem deželnem zboru v Gradcu.

Franc Robič, teacher, Slovenian public and national renaissance promotor, provincial and state deputy, at home in Limbuš by Maribor, wirh his variegated activities, inscribed himself into the national history. He is among the exposed actors of Slovenianhood in Styria during the last decades of the 19th century and at the break from the 19th to the 20th century. He may even be considered along the prominent leaders of the Slovenian nationality, who were active in Styria. He acted with particular zeal for the benefit of Slovenian education, agriculture and the countryside in general, while he also comprehended the more general national interests and for development of the city of Maribor. He pronounced himself also by activities in the Austrian State Parliament in Vienna and in the Styrian Provincial Assembly in Gradec/Graz.
