Avtorica predstavlja primorske begunce, ki so se zaradi prve svetovne vojne in povoj¬nih gospodarskopolitičnih razmer v Julijski krajini zatekli na ptujsko območje. Prikazuje življenje v begunskem taborišču v Strnišču in izpostavlja prispevek primorskih priseljencev v narodnoobrambnem boju slovenstva pred drugo svetovne vojno.

Ljubica Šuligoj: Littoral Refugess Between the two World Wars in the Ptuj Area. Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 78=43(2007), 2-3, pp. 154-179

The author depicts the Littoral refugees from the Giulia area, who found refuge in the Ptuj area, owing it to First Word War and post-War economic and political condition. She describes the life in the refugee camp in Strnišče and underscores the contribu¬tion of the Littoral immigrants to the national-defence movement of Slovenianhood before the Second World War.
