Boris Golec: Komaj znano in še neznano vplivno meščansko sorodstvo Primoža Trubarja. Časopis za zgodovino in narodopisje, Maribor 81=46(2010), 2–3, str. 5–33

V biografskih obravnavah verskega reformatorja in začetnika slovenskega knjižnega
življenjski in poklicni poti.

Boris Golec: The Hardly Known and the Unknown Influential Middle-Class Relatives of Primož Trubar. Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 81=46(2010), 2–3, pp. 5–33

In the biographic treaties of the religious reformer and the beginner of the Slovene
standard language, Primož Trubar (around 1508–1586), the question on keen relations
with the middle-class families and their influences on Trubar’s life and professional path were neglected. Trubar has had contacts with the middle-class since his childhood.
His cousin Lukež Klinc (Cvekelj) was namely an offspring of the leading middleclass
family in Višnja Gora, the closest town to Trubar’s home village. His cousin was a
highly influential Ljubljana citizen and as such he significantly helped Trubar. Trubar
was in Slovenia as well as in Germany active mostly in the urban or at least in the semiurban
milieu and was at least twice married to women of middle-class families. The
influence the related middle-class families from Višnja Gora, Ljubljana, Kranj, Celje,
Augsburg and Vienna had on this life and work was bigger than until now anticipated.
