Boris Mlakar: Odiseja primorskega slovenskega pisatelja Cirila Kosmača v 30. in 40. letih preteklega stoletja. Časopis za zgodovino in narodopisje, Maribor 82=47(2011), 4, str. 107–128

Na podlagi arhivskega gradiva, ki se nahaja v Osrednjem državnem arhivu v Rimu ter v Arhivu Jugoslavije v Beogradu, avtor predstavlja poglavitne značilnosti burne življenjske poti slovenskega pisatelja Cirila Kosmača v obdobju med letoma 1929 in 1944. Tematsko tako sega od začetne aretacije devetnajstletnega dijaka s strani italijanskih fašističnih oblasti na Primorskem pa vse do poletja 1944, ko se je Kosmač kot uveljavljen pisatelj odločil, da se odtrga od jugoslovanske begunske vlade v Londonu in preide k slovenskim partizanom.

Boris Mlakar: The Odyssey of the Slovene Costal Writer, Ciril Kosmač, in the 30ies and 40ies of the Last Century. Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 82=47(2011), 4, pp. 107–128

On the basis of archival materials that are kept in the Central Archives of the State in Rome and in the Archives of Yugoslavia in Belgrade, the author presents the principal characteristics of the Slovene writer Ciril Kosmač’s life path in the period between 1929 and 1944. Thematically the article reaches form the nineteen years old student who  got arrested by the Italian authorities in Primorska (Slovene costal region) till summer 1944, when Kosmač has already been an established writer and has decided to separate from the Yugoslav refugee government in London and to join the Slovene Partisans.
