Klaudija Sedar: Življenje bogojinskega duhovnika Jožefa Hauka (1890−1968) v primežu
kolesja svetovnih vojn.
Časopis za zgodovino in narodopisje, Maribor 88=53(2017),
1, str. 21–42

V Sloveniji so namreč tedaj nastale in delovale
proti njim morda neutemeljene. V Prekmurju je tako zaradi domnevnega sodelovanja
v Matjaževem gibanju poleg turniškega in murskosoboškega duhovnika bil obtožen

Grip of the World Wars

The treatise discusses the life of Jožef Hauko, a priest from Bogojina, who played an
important role in the post-war resistance. Numerous illegal groups emerged and were
active in Slovenia back then, among which the Crusaders stood out. The Crusader were
the most active in Styria and Prekmurje. Many priest were part of this movement and
some of them were sentenced to prison, even though the accusations against them
were false. Jožef Hauko, a priest from Bogojina, was, next to the priests from Turnišče
and Murska Sobota, the one in Prekmurje, who was prosecuted because of supposed
collaboration with the so-called “Matjaž Movement”. Besides these prosecutions Jožef
Hauko also suffered may other ordeals.
