Mateja Hadler: Značilni elementi v romski mladinski književnosti. Časopis za zgodovino in narodopisje, Maribor 84=49(2013), 4, str. 109–130

Nedvomno se zgodovina, karakteristika jezika in narava ljudstva zrcalijo tudi v književnosti. Enako je pri Romih, narodu brez domovine, katerih zgodba je pogosto zakrita z nerazumevanjem in s predsodki. Po splošni osvetlitvi problematike o izvoru Romov in romski književnosti se prispevek pretežno ukvarja s folklorno romsko mladinsko književnostjo in avtorsko romsko mladinsko književnostjo. Pri tem je glavni poudarek na razčlembi izbranih romskih pravljic ter obravnavi motivov, glavnih junakov, slogovnih značilnostih in drugih skupnih elementov. Ti se pokažejo kot zares značilni in odsevajo bogato kulturo romskega naroda.

History, language characteristics and the nature of a nation can, without a doubt, be reflected in literature. This is also the case with the Romani, with a nation without homeland, whose story is often hidden by misunderstanding and prejudice. In the beginning the article generally presents the problematic on the Romani origin and the Romani literature and it then deals mostly with the Romani folk and the literary youth literature. The main emphasis lies on the analysis of selected Romani fairy tales and on the discussion of motives, main characters, style characteristics and other common features. They appear as really typical and reflect the rich culture of the Romani nation.
