Robert Peskar: Konservatorski koncept obnove nekdanjega dominikanskega samostana
na Ptuju. Časopis za zgodovino in narodopisje, Maribor 85=50(2014), 1–2, str. 13–40

Prispevek obravnava prvo fazo prenove dominikanskega samostana na Ptuju. V
ospredju zanimanja je njen konservatorski koncept z vidika sodobne konservatorske
teorije in doktrine. Ta pri sprejemanju odločitev navadno zahteva izrazitejšo stopnjo
demokracije, pri tem pa postavlja v ospredje različne principe posegov, odstranljivost
novih konstrukcij ali čim manj posegov, vendar tako, da vsaka obnova zadovolji čim
več različnih vidikov, zlasti širše družbe.

Robert Peskar: The Conservation Concept of the Former Ptuj Dominican Monastery Renovation.
Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 85=50(2014), 1–2, pp. 13–40

The article discusses the first phase of the Ptuj Dominican monastery renovation. The
central point of interest is the conservation concept as seen from the perspective of
contemporary conservation theory and doctrine. This doctrine usually demands a
higher level of democracy in decision-making and, as such, emphasises a different set
of procedural principles, such as the removability of new constructions or the carrying out of as few procedures as possible. However, it does so in the sense that each renovation
should satisfy as many viewpoints as possible, mainly because of the wider public.
