Prispevek obravnava vsebino in značilnosti najzgodnejših dokumentov, v katerih se med letoma 1526 in 1545 omenja ime začetnika slovenske književnosti Primoža Truubarja (1508-1586). Večino izvirnikov so doslej citirali le po starejših objavah, prvi dokument s Trubarjevim podpisom in pečatom (1533) je pomotoma veljal za neoohranjenega, v obravnavo pa je pritegnjenih tudi nekaj še neznanih omemb. Posebej zgovorne so ugotovitve o Trubarjevih podpisih in pečatih.

Boris Golec: The Earliest Testimonies of Primož Trubar, References, Signatures and Seals between 1526 and 1545. Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 79=44(2008),3-4, pp. 24-41

The article describes the contents and the specifics of the earliest documents which, between 1526 and 1545, mention the name of the founder of the Slovene literature Primož Trubar (1508-1586). Most of the original documents have until now been cited only in the older publications, the first document with Trubar's signature and seal (1533) has mistakenly been taken for destroyed. Some unknown references are also dealt with. The findings on Trubar's signatures and seals are particularly evidential.
