UDK 070.13(430Augsburg)"1848/1849"

Allgemeine Zeitung, časopis evropskih razsežnosti, je v revolucionarnem letu 1848/1849 doživel vrhunec tako v obsegu kot v nakladi. V prispevku smo želeli osvetliti njegov pomen in raziskati, ali je v tem obdobju kazal interes tudi za dežele s slovenskim prebivalstvom. Zaradi njegovih dimenzij smo se branja časopisa lotili z bojaznijo, da v njem ne bo mogoče najti objav iz dežel s slovenskim prebivalstvom. Vendar je bil strah neupravičen, saj je zanimanje Augsburgerice segalo precej daleč, tudi v obrobne kraje monarhije.

Augsbrurger Allgemeine Zeitung, a newspaper of European reputation, reached its peak in the Year of Revolution 1848/1849 in its length and its circulation. The treatise tries to present its importance and research if the newspaper was also interested in countries with Slovene population. Because of its extent we started reading it with the fear that no articles dealing with Slovene population will be found. But there was no need for fear for the interests of the Augsburger Allgemeine Zeitung lay far beyond the Monarchy borders.
